Mr. Fernández has received various awards for his professional and academic work, including:

• The “Revista Chilena de Derecho” Award granted by the Law School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile for the best publication in Commercial Law and Economic Analysis of Law in 2011;
• The “Teaching Excellence Award” granted by the Diego Portales University for being considered the best professor at the Law School of that institution in 2014;
  Chile Scholarship for postgraduate master’s studies at the University of Chicago;
• He has twice received the “Alfa Latin America – Academic Training” scholarship from the EuropaAid Cooperation Office of the European Union.
